Battery Tips for LED Flashlight

Battery Tips for LED Flashlight
1.Do not attempt to simultaneously recharge batteries of different capacities, different brands or different ages. Do not use batteries of different brands or different ages together.
2.Do not put single-use batteries in a refrigerator or freezer.
Some people in the battery industry assert that placing charged NiMH batteries in a freezer, if well-packaged to avoid collecting moisture, will enable them to retain a high percentage of stored energy.
3.Frozen batteries should be restored to room temperature before usage. Other experts discourage the use of refrigeration or freezing for any batteries.
4.This tip was previously stated, but it's worth repeating: If left unused for long stretches of time, recharge standard NiMHs every 1 to 2 months, precharged NiMHs every 6 to 9 months.
5.Remove batteries from devices if they will be left unused for months at a time. This prevents a device from exerting a tiny drain on the batteries even though the device is inactive.
6.Remove single-use (non-rechargeable) batteries from a device when they are being powered by household AC current. Doing so spares the batteries from any tiny drain on their power reserves by the device.
7.Do not store batteries, particularly single-use batteries, in locations where heat can become intense, such as car trunks, attics or garages.
8.Avoid tossing batteries into a drawer, briefcase or bag where they may contact metal objects such as coins or paper clips. Doing so may cause a short or it could negatively affect a battery's polarity.
9.Never put batteries into a fire. Doing so could cause them to rupture and spill their contents. Also: Avoid tossing them into a metal container where heat could build up.

LED Flashlight VS Traditional Flashlight

Actually, the difference between LED flashlights and ordinary ones is the difference between LEDs and traditional bulbs. As we know, LEDs stand for light emitting diodes and LED flashlights have become popular in daily use. It is easy to find that they have been around in all kinds of devices such as in traffic light, TV set, etc. Why are they so prevailing over the traditional bulbs?
  1) Less Energy Consumption – LED flashlights use just a fraction of the energy incandescent flashlights consume. Incandescent lights work by heading a thin wire inside the bulb, creating both light and heat. Unfortunately, much of the energy needed to create light is lost in the form of heat. By using LEDs, less of the energy is lost to heat, meaning the same amount of light requires less energy to produce.. To the the same lighting effect, the incandescent flashlight needs consume 60 watts energy compared with a LED flashlight which only consumes 6-8 watts energy.
   2) Brighter & Whiter Light Beam – Unlike incandescent bulbs, which produce more of a yellow, washed out color, LEDs produce a brilliant white light that is far brighter than what can be produced by an incandescent bulb. This is important when using a flashlight, as LEDs allow you to see farther and clearer.
   3) Longer Life Span Bulb – As mentioned earlier, LED bulbs use less electricity than incandescent bulbs do.The average LED life span is 50,000 hours while the life span of Incandescent Light Bulbs is 1,200 hours. In the long run, this means saving you money on both batteries for your flashlight and purchasing replacement bulbs.
The flashlight LED flashlight has become the sales leader on the flashlight market. Few people will go with a traditional flashlight. The development of LED flashlight in the coming days will be more rapid. LED flashlight technology will have greater innovation.

How LED Flashlights Affect Night Vision

Although science and technology in the development, there are so many people to use led flashlight when they are outdoors in the dark. But you have thought about it?How LED Flashlights Affect Night Vision?
To dive a bit deeper into the biology of vision, consider this: A special biological pigment called rhodopsin aids the eye’s rods in delivering nighttime sight. Rhodopsin molecules actually change shape as light hits them. Extremely bright light shocks rhodopsin molecules into very different shapes. It can take as long as half an hour for the body to return its rhodopsin stores back into the shape that works best for night vision.
For this reason, avid hunters and fishermen hate it when a newbie blasts his or her LED flashlight without warning. Even a moment of LED light can destroy your night vision temporarily.
You may have noticed outdoorsmen favoring red-tinted LED flashlights in night expeditions. There’s a good biological reason for this, as well. Namely, your eye’s rods can’t detect red light. Its cones, however, can. Using an LED flashlight or headlamp on the red setting helps preserve night vision by taking advantage of your cones’ ability to see color. At the same time, red light doesn’t trip the eye’s rods, thus protecting your rhodopsin molecules and preserving natural night vision.
So now you know How LED Flashlights Affect Night Vision, you should learn to how to protect your eyes.

Advantages of LED flashlights

There are a few things everyone must consider when purchasing a flashlight. The first question that needs to be answered is which type of flashlight one must buy, that is, an LED flashlight or a regular incandescent flashlight.
The LED flashlight is much smaller in size. Its switches work much faster as compared to the incandescent bulb flashlights. As compared to traditional lights, the LED flashlight is much lighter. It is very easy to carry due to its relatively small size.
There are many factors to be considered when looking for the LED flashlight. Everybody wants to have a bright light. But too much of bright light is also not good. The intensity of LED flashlight is measured in lumens. The most common range of a LED flashlight is 10 to 100 lumens. The LED flashlight having an intensity which measures up to 30 lumens is good enough for most of your average purposes. The super bright flashlights are used for special needs such as police work or digging purposes.
The AA batteries are considered best for a LED flashlight. The small-sized bright LED flashlight can easily be powered by two AA batteries. These are easily available in the market. These are affordable batteries, and they also have a good life. A single AA battery can provide the LED flashlight power for hours. Besides the AA batteries, even the AAA batteries are good enough. Also, there are many other LED flashlight products as well as other gadgets that make use of AAA batteries. Do not use the LED flashlight that is powered by button cells. Even though these might have a good performance as well as good battery life but the fact remains that these cells are not easily available. Thus you will find it difficult to replace them.
The LED flashlight is mostly used for outdoor purposes such as trekking or camping. This means that you must make sure that you get a LED flashlight that is durable. Get a LED flashlight that has a good strong outer body. Ensure that it is covered by warranties.
If you can buy a led flashlight, you can get them from the a store or online shopping, but before buying a led flashlight, you should be compare the price through the internet on different site. What is more,if you buy a good brand, you can ever get a lifetime warranty.
You can go to tatamall to compare the price.we offer the best price for you.
